The Opportunity & Responsibilities
As a Centre Manager, you will oversee the day-to-day activities of the Centre, encompassing staff management, budget oversight, and effective communication with families, employees & internal stakeholders.
You will be working in partnership with our Assistant Centre manager & Head of Curriculum to lead a high performing team to strive for and provide the highest quality care and education for all children, families, staff and the community. As a Centre Manager, you will ensure a smooth and safe child & family experience and nurture a positive and inclusive culture that encourages collaboration.
About you
Degree OR Diploma in Early Childhood Education & Care
Must have minimum 2 years previous Centre Manager experience
Previous experience in leading a startup/brand new centre is highly regarded
Previous experience in driving change
Ideally will have had experience in setting up and opening a new service
Knowledge and understanding of Children's Services Regulations and National Quality Standards
Ability to work in a fast paced environment
Lead, inspire and motivate a team of educators
Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
Passion, enthusiasm and a strong commitment to high quality care
Current Working with Children check, Police Check, First-Aid Certificate, Asthma and Anaphylaxis training, Food Safety Supervisor certificate
