Position

As the Finance Manager you will take full ownership of the finance function and build strong working relationships with the Board and CEO in delivering effective financial management. This is a stand-alone, hands-on role, ideal for a CA/CPA qualified professional who is technically strong, commercially savvy and passionate about process improvements within a dynamic and evolving business. The role entails a comprehensive review of the current financial processes, internal financial controls and systems, accurate weekly and monthly reporting. In addition, you will develop, establish and maintain policies and procedures to meet operational requirements and statutory compliance and regulations.

Profile

• CA/CPA qualified with strong technical accounting expertise
• Strong understanding of financial compliance, internal controls and accounting standards
• Experience with financial management software, ideally Xero
• Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret financial data and provide strategic recommendations
• Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to liaise confidently with internal and external stakeholder, including Board members, auditors and external professional advisors
• High level of confidentiality, professionalism, and meticulous attention to detail
• Ability to work autonomously and collaboratively in a small tight knit team environment
• Not for profit backgrounds will be highly considered

Benefits

• Part time, 3 days onsite with flexibility to suit
• $120,000-140,000 base + Superannuation (Pro Rata)
• Melbourne location
