About your new role

As the People Central Advisor, you will be the first point of contact for employees and managers, providing consistent, timely, and professional HR advice and support across the full employee lifecycle. You will play a key role in shaping and delivering a best-practice HR service delivery model and coordinating HR queries across the organisation. You will ensure that all advice aligns with relevant government policies, employment agreements, and established procedures.

What you will need to exceed

• Solid generalist HR experience, with a focus on end-to-end employee lifecycle support
• Strong knowledge of employment legislation, policies, and enterprise agreements
• Ability to confidently provide timely, accurate, and professional HR advice
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to manage and resolve queries effectively
• A proactive and solutions-focused mindset with strong organisational and time management skills
• Experience working in a complex, high-volume environmen
• A collaborative approach to work, with the ability to build strong relationships at all levels

Must have

• Proven HR advisory experience in a similar role
• Sound understanding of HR practices, systems, and policies
• Ability to work independently while contributing to a wider HR team

Desirable

• Experience working within a government environment
• Exposure to HRIS platforms and case management systems
