Reporting to the Project Manager, you will play a crucial role in delivering projects. Working in a fulltime capacity from our office in Perth with regular site travel required, you will be responsible for the successful planning, coordination and delivery of HDPE piping projects. This position offers an excellent opportunity to contribute to the growth and success of BMR Piping & Civil.

What you'll be doing

Manage all aspects of project planning and execution, including scope definition, cost estimation, resource allocation and risk mitigation

Liaise with clients, stakeholders and contractors to ensure projects are completed on time, within budget and to the required standards

Prepare detailed project plans, progress reports and QAQC documentation

Monitor project performance and identify opportunities for improvement

Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers and technical staff

Assisting with Estimating and Tendering

What we're looking for

Tertiary qualification in Civil or Mechanical Engineering

Experience as a Project Engineer in the construction or mining industry working on dewatering, piping, mechanical projects

Knowledge of pumps, pipework, hydro testing, and civil earthworks would be highly beneficial

Demonstrated ability to manage complex projects from inception to completion

Strong technical and problem-solving skills with a keen eye for detail

Excellent communication and stakeholder management capabilities

Familiarity with relevant engineering software and project management tools

A commitment to safety and a track record of delivering high-quality work

Flexibility to work in the Perth office and FIFO on rosters as per project requirements
