Clarity Partners is partnering with a well-regarded engineering and services contractor that delivers world-class hydraulic and lifting solutions across sectors such as Oil & Gas, Mining & Infrastructure, Marine, Defence, and Power Generation.

We are seeking a Project Engineer – Hydraulics to join their growing team. This role will suit someone who thrives in a collaborative environment, is technically strong, and wants to be part of delivering critical engineering projects. It’s a great opportunity for technicians with strong industrial hydraulics experience looking to step into a project-focused engineering role.

Responsibilities:

• Coordinate and oversee hydraulic engineering project delivery to meet deadlines and quality standards
• Develop, review, and refine engineering designs, specifications, and drawings
• Manage project schedules, resources, and budgets
• Ensure adherence to safety, quality, and regulatory requirements
• Communicate clearly and regularly with stakeholders and clients
• Support the procurement of materials, equipment, and services
• Monitor and report on project progress and performance metrics
• Collaborate with contractors, tradespeople, and engineers across disciplines
• Assist with site inspections, testing, commissioning, and documentation
• Prepare detailed site work packs and conduct pre- and post-site debriefs
• Contribute to tendering, business development, and client presentations

About You:

• Degree in Engineering or a relevant Trade Certificate
• Proven experience with industrial hydraulic systems (pumps, valves, actuators, etc.)
• Strong technical knowledge of engineering principles, standards, and compliance requirements
• Proficient with Microsoft Office and project coordination tools
• Excellent communication, time management, and stakeholder engagement skills
• Ability to juggle multiple priorities while maintaining attention to detail
