Are you a strategic thinker with a passion for clear, compelling communication where your words can make a real impact? The Audit Office of South Australia (SA) is seeking a communications leader and chief editor to lead our communications function and support our mission to promote transparency and accountability across the public sector.

Your organisation

The Audit Office of South Australia (SA) strives to help the SA public sector to operate at the highest levels of accountability and integrity. We provide timely, relevant information to Parliament on the performance and accountability of SA government agencies and local government through our audits, reviews, and examinations.

Your team

The Communications team is a small team that develops and implements our communication strategies and manages our internal and external communications including our reports to Parliament, which are critical to delivering the Auditor-General’s statutory audit mandate and responsibilities.

What you’ll do

  • a relevant tertiary qualification (highly desirable, but not essential)
  • Australian citizenship/permanent residency at the time of applying.

What we offer

  • Competitive salary and leave arrangements.
  • Flexible work arrangements including flexi-time, part-time and work from home.
  • Professional and personal development opportunities.
  • Health and well-being programs and initiatives.
