Claims Support Officer – Report Review & Coordination

Ormiston, QLD | Full-time, On-site | $60,000 - $65,000 + Super (dependent on insurance/motor claims experience)

Are you detail-oriented and experienced in insurance administration or claims support? We’re looking for a Claims Support Officer to join a close-knit team responsible for reviewing and compiling assessment reports that support efficient claims resolution.

Based in Ormiston with on-site parking, this is a full-time, office-based role that suits someone who enjoys working behind the scenes to ensure documentation is accurate, complete, and processed promptly.

About the Role
You’ll be reviewing and compiling motor assessment reports, making sure everything from quotes to images is correct and accounted for. The work is process-driven and time-sensitive, requiring strong organisational skills and high attention to detail.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Reviewing reports for typographical and factual accuracy
  • Compiling final reports with attachments (images, salvage estimates, quotes)
  • Liaising with insurers or providers to confirm details where needed
  • Submitting reports through insurer platforms or email
  • Setting follow-up actions to keep reports progressing
  • Meeting key time-based performance targets


What We’re Looking For

  • Experience in insurance administration, claims, or assessing is highly regarded but not essential
  • Motor industry experience is also desirable but not essential
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • High attention to detail and confidence in managing documentation
  • Ability to work autonomously, follow procedures, and meet deadlines
  • A team player with great time management and data entry accuracy
  • Open to learning and adapting in a process-focused environment
