Project Manager

Design & Build Recruitment is searching for an experienced Project Manager to join our clients well established commercial construction team. With a proven history of successfully delivering large scale commercial projects, they are rapidly growing in the QLD market and have a strong pipeline of future projects. Our client is offering a full time. Permanent with a company that will truly invest in your career and personal development.

To be successful in this role you will have previous experience as a Project Manager on large scale Commercial new build projects. You will have been exposed to projects over $50M and should be able to demonstrate a proven track record of longevity with previous construction companies.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee the planning, execution, and delivery of projects.
• Manage project timelines, budgets, and resources to ensure successful outcomes.
• Collaborate with clients, stakeholders, and subcontractors to achieve project goals.
• Lead and mentor project teams, fostering a positive and productive work environment.
• Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and regulatory standards throughout project lifecycles.
• Proactively identify and mitigate risks to maintain project integrity.
• Drive effective communication between all project participants.

About You

• Proven experience managing large scale commercial projects.
• Demonstrated ability to deliver projects in excess of $50M.
• Strong knowledge of construction processes, contracts, and project management methodologies.
• Excellent leadership, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Strong financial acumen with the ability to manage budgets and cost reporting.
• Exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Relevant tertiary qualifications in construction, engineering, or a related field.
