This well-respected national builder with a diverse project range that includes, offices, government, health and education facilities across both new build and fitouts are looking to add a Senior Estimator to join an experienced team.

The role will involve:

• Projecting and controlling construction costs
• Producing accurate documentation including: cost documentation and cost estimations of final accounts and variations
• Prepare specifications, proposals and contract documentation
• Liaising with suppliers, tradespeople, contractors and supervisors
• Checking contract plans and specifications for accuracy prior to release for construction
• Maintaining quality service by following organization standards

Desired skills and experience:

• Some previous experience in an Estimating role
• Strong communication skills both written and verbal
• Have an excellent understanding of the full construction life-cycle
• Computer proficiency with Microsoft Offices programs of Outlook, Excel, and Word and Prime (ideal but not necessary)
• Be open to guidance and direction from senior staff members
• Hold relevant qualifications, or have a strong trade background
• A thorough understanding and knowledge of the residential construction market and building industry standards and processes
• Solid communication skills with excellent attention to detail
