This large, multi-state operating insurance repair builder, is seeking an Insurance Estimator to join their Desktop Estimating team in their Sydney Inner West HO.

The right individual will have direct career progression into a Team Leadership position within a short space of time, training and managing the Desktop Estimating division of the company.

ABOUT THE ROLE

You will be part of the Desktop Assessing team, focused on;

Virtual assessments, report writing and estimators of BAU and small storm repair projects.

Deconstructing estimators received from insurance companies, applying policy knowledge, and creating estimate variations.

This is a full-time, permanent position, Monday to Friday in the Alexandria HO.

There is career progression pathways for the right person, leading to Senior Assessor or Team Lead.

The starting salary is $90,000 - $115,000 + superannuation (there is some room for discussion here based on experience).

ABOUT YOU

The ideal candidate for this position will have had prior Insurance Building Estimating experience + willingness and capability to perform in a Desktop position long-term.

Construction Coordination or Construction Estimating experience outside of insurance also relevant - especially within the remedial, strata or residential building space.

Industry qualification such as Cert III or above desirable but not necessary.

Computer confident.

Interest to commit to the role long-term and grow with the company.
