Negotiable time fraction between 0.8 – full-time
Hybrid role, time in lieu, 6 weeks paid annual leave, option to purchase 2 more
$100,000 plus 12% superannuation (or pro rata)

WynBay LLEN is the broker, facilitator, and administrator of two VDSS (Vocational Education and Training Delivered to School Students) clusters, comprising 24 schools across Wyndham and Hobsons Bay. The two clusters have been in operation for over 17 years. The VET Cluster Manager is responsible for managing the Wyndham and the Hobsons Bay VET Clusters.
Roles and Responsibilities
Implement the VET Cluster Strategic Plan 2026/27.
Chair in-person network meetings and lead Cluster governance and operations groups.
Plan and coordinate the provision and enrollment of courses.
Assist school VASS Coordinators and Business Managers in support of the cluster's operations.
Support school-based VET Coordinators and regularly visit schools.
Manage the annual lifecycle of VET Cluster operations.
Act as the day-to-day liaison between schools and other stakeholders.
Produce and update Cluster documentation including Cluster operations guidelines, student handbooks and promotional materials.
Provide critical information to inform reporting for VASS and all stakeholders and partnerships.
Represent WynBay LLEN in Department of Education professional development sessions as required.
Communicate complex information accurately to all stakeholders.
Key Selection Criteria
Experience
Experience working in, or with, VET in secondary schools, TAFE or RTOs in leadership roles.
Demonstrated ability to work in a team and manage relationships.
Demonstrated effective leadership experience in managing networks or working groups comprising diverse stakeholders to achieve agreed outcomes.
Knowledge
Understanding of the Victorian secondary school system, especially VET.
Understanding of how RTOs and TAFEs operate and function in the provision of VDSS
Extensive knowledge of Microsoft packages, especially Word, Excel and MS Publisher or similar design packages.
Knowledge of the role of Victorian Curriculum and Assessment Authority (VCAA), Victorian Registration and Qualifications Authority (VRQA) and Victorian Skills Authority (VSA).

Victorian driver’s license and car with fully comprehensive insurance.
Working with children’s check.
Undergo a police check.
