Since 2019, our team has been successfully delivering NDIS Specialist Disability Accommodation (SDA) Certified, High Physical Support 'Smart Homes' across South East Queensland & Wide Bay regions. In May 2020, we were officially welcomed by the NDIS as a Registered Specialist Disability Accommodation Provider (ID #4050071176). https://thedisabilityhousingcentre.com.au/. We now manage over 100 proeprties and counting.
Working as part of ‘The Disability Housing Centre’ team, you will be responsible for successfully sourcing new NDIS SDA funded participants to occupy our brand-new homes (all funding levels considered), create awareness within the disability community of our available properties, and implement our stakeholder engagement/communication plan. Executing our specific strategies to connect with and establish effective referral pathways and partnerships with key stakeholders is top priority.
Tasks and responsibilities:
Use a variety of activities and platforms to actively promote The Disability Housing Centre and SDA Smart Homes properties with support from DHC Marketing and Communications staff.
Actively seek out opportunities to grow and develop The Disability Housing Centre.
Monitor and document achievement against agreed KPIs.
Respond to enquiries in a timely manner, ensure they are followed up and logged in our CRM.
Provide operational support to the NDIS SDA Accommodation Manager.
Collaborate with Marketing team to promote and host/attend events that showcase DHC and SDA Smart Homes.
Keep focused on direct engagement activities including visiting support coordination agencies and attending public forums and events.
Update our property owners at the required intervals.
Prepare tenancy Application paperwork and required evidence documentation.
Laise with/assist Property Management re lease preparation and execution.
Skills and experience:
At least three years’ experience in a Property Management/ Business Development/Stakeholder Engagement role. Experience within the Disability sector adventageous.
Proven ability to work strategically and be solutions focused.
Ability to support continuous improvement to achieve KPI’s.
A high level of personal motivation, integrity, compassion, and empathy.
Dependability in all aspects of the job, including the ability to work autonomously and take accountability for actions.
Exceptional communication and planning skills.
A motivation for continuous improvement for self and team.
A desire to provide exceptional customer service and deliver results.
Must be available for some travel within QLD, after hours and weekend work where required.
Full driver’s license.
Confidence with public speaking is beneficial.
Other / general
Full time role - mix of being on the road & in our East Brisbane office (free parking).
Immediate start available.
