BASE CHINCHILLA is currently seeking an experienced and talented Pastry Chef who wants the opportunity to showcase their passion for creating delicious baked goods and pastries for our clients and fellow staff members.

You will contribute extensively to the effective day to day operations and provide a service for customers ensuring that each experience is as close to a home away from home feeling.

Your role will include preparing and baking a variety of breads, pastries, cakes and other baked goods to our high standards. Ensuring consistent quality and presentation of all products while maintaining a clean and organized workspace.

A solid knowledge and understanding of HACCP procedures and safe work practices is imperative. Cleanliness and professional presentation is extremely vital at all times.

Local to Chinchilla preferred working Monday to Friday or DIDO on roster.

What are we looking for?

Individuals that remain focused in a busy environment, handle pressure well and possess the following qualifications:

· Australian Citizen, Permanent Resident or unrestricted work rights

· Trade Certificate or Certificate III in Patisserie is essential

· International qualifications considered and will be assessed as part of the shortlisting process

· Preferably experience cooking for large numbers, ideally production / bulk / banquet cooking

· Flexibility to work across various rosters

· Police Clearance or willing to obtain

· A strong commitment to high standards of customer service and integrity
