Due to our growth, we are seeking a Rosterer / Workforce Coordinator to work Monday to Friday from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Position Overview:
We are currently looking for a highly organized and detail-oriented Rosterer / Workforce Coordinator to join our team and ensure the smooth scheduling of staff across our operations, specifically managing support workers throughout the Sydney area.
Key Responsibilities:
- Create, manage, and maintain staff rosters for multiple teams and locations.
- Ensure adequate coverage to meet operational needs, including peak periods and staff absences.
- Coordinate with team leaders and department heads to understand staffing requirements.
- Efficiently manage last-minute changes, shift swaps, and absentee coverage.
- Monitor and track attendance and hours worked for payroll and reporting purposes.
- Utilize rostering software to streamline and update schedules in real time.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in rostering, scheduling, or workforce coordination is essential. Flowlogic experience is a must.
- Willingness to travel to Sydney occasionally if not located locally. Being based in Sydney is preferred, but not essential.
- Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.
- Knowledge of the NDIS and community participation delivery.
- Good communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Proficiency with rostering software (e.g., Deputy, Kronos, RosterElf, Humanforce, or similar).
- Familiarity with relevant employment laws, awards, and agreements is advantageous.
Desirable:
- Experience in the healthcare, hospitality, aged care, or transport industries.
- Flexibility to occasionally work outside standard business hours during peak periods.
