In 2023, SydWest proudly merged with Participate Australia and in 2025 merged with Riverlink to expand and strengthen its services in the areas of disability support, community programs and SIL.

As a part of this growth, we are seeking a Rostering Coordinator to join our dedicated team at the Riverlink office in North Paramatta. This role plays a vital part in ensuring quality service delivery through efficient and person centered rostering practices. Role Overview:

The Roster Coordinator is responsible for scheduling the service delivery of support workers to our participants by providing a range of timely and accurate administrative support and rostering services. This will be achieved by maintaining rosters within a data management system. They will work closely with Team Leaders to provide person centred supports within the available funding.

Rostering Coordinator – Paramatta

This position requires someone who can work independently and as part of a team. Employees at this level have sufficient freedom to exercise judgement in the day-to-day operations of rostering across Riverlink programs and services.

Key Accountabilities

Ensure participants are rostered with appropriately skilled staff as per service agreements, published at least two weeks in advance.

Provide efficient, customer-focused solutions and outcomes for staffing and service issues.

Maintain open communication with participants and stakeholders regarding changes to services or staff.

Adhere to relevant Awards, Agreements, and Riverlink policies when managing rosters and staff leave.

Work closely with HR, team leaders and managers when onboarding new Support workers, arranging staff training and development.

Manage the Workforce email inbox and ensure accurate tracking of shifts, hours, leave and payroll reporting.

Review staffing levels and support service transformation initiatives.

Identify service gaps and reallocate staff promptly when shifts are cancelled.

Participate in the on-call roster as required.

Perform additional tasks as directed by the Head of Operations.

Ensure health and safety within the workplace.

Essential Criteria (needs to be addressed on a separate document)

Relevant tertiary qualifications in community services, disability, human services or social sciences/or equivalent experience

Previous rostering experience in an NDIS environment including complex SIL rosters

Detailed knowledge and understanding of Person-Centered active support

Demonstrated communication and complaint handling skills

Demonstrated ability to manage systems of work in accordance with policies and procedures.

Demonstrated ability to work with a diverse team.

High level communication skills and exceptional organisational skills

Critical thinker with strong analytical capabilities

Current NSW Driver's License

NDIS Worker Screening check

Valid Working with Children's Check (WWCC) check

Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Proficient in Microsoft Office
