The Opportunity

We're seeking a Technical Sales Specialist to master and champion a diverse portfolio of sophisticated hardware systems. This newly created role is pivotal in driving growth and innovation within our client-centric model.

Your journey will begin with a structured immersion period, typically 6-8 months, where you'll:

Focus on reactive account management, providing unparalleled support to our existing clientele and expertly handling inbound inquiries.

Engage in intensive product training to develop a deep, technical understanding of our comprehensive hardware offerings.

Collaborate closely with internal teams, absorbing our operational excellence and high standards of client service.

Beyond this initial phase, you'll transition into a dynamic, proactive role:

Proactively identify and cultivate new business opportunities, particularly within the OEM, fabrication, and joinery sectors.

Provide expert technical consultations, offering bespoke solutions that align perfectly with complex project specifications.

Act as a vital conduit between our clients and the product development team, translating market feedback into insights that fuel continuous innovation.

About You

You're a technically astute sales professional with a profound appreciation for design and architecture. Your strength lies not just in sales, but in your ability to translate intricate technical details into tangible value for clients. Your background likely includes:

Extensive experience with complex, component-based products, ideally within mechanical systems, OEM components, specialized door hardware, or custom-engineered solutions.

A proven track record in problem-solving and effectively communicating detailed technical information to a diverse range of stakeholders.

Solid exposure to and understanding of the OEM, fabrication, and joinery markets, including their unique dynamics and specific requirements.

Experience in high-end manufacturing, product development, or systems integration.

Exceptional Technical Acumen: The ability to quickly grasp and articulate the nuances of highly intricate hardware systems.

Hunter Mentality: We're seeking an individual with a proven "hunter" approach to sales – someone who actively and persistently pursues new business in the OEM market. This involves extensive prospecting, cold outreach, and diligent follow-up to identify, engage, and secure new client partnerships and embed our products.

Superior Communication Skills: You can effortlessly translate complex concepts into clear, accessible information for clients and collaborators.

Strong Client-Centric Approach: A genuine commitment to understanding and meticulously fulfilling client needs with precision and professionalism.

Compensation:

We recognise and reward top talent with a highly competitive package:

Annual Salary: $100,000 - $120,000 base salary + 12% Superannuation.

Vehicle Allowance: An additional $17,000 per annum.
