About the Role:
MSS Security is currently seeking a dedicated and experienced Control Room Team Leader to join our team at the University of Melbourne. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the control room, providing guidance and support to control room operators, and ensuring smooth coordination of all security activities across campus.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise and manage a team of 8+ security personnel, ensuring efficient operations and adherence to protocols.
• Oversee control room operations, including managing CCTV footage and screens, access control, visitor management, and responding to phone inquiries.
• Maintain effective communication and reporting within the team.
• Utilise strong computer skills for scheduling, reporting, and operational tasks.
• Manage on-site rostering, including addressing absences and ensuring adequate staffing levels.
• Maintain incident reports and documentation.
  
  

Skills & Experience:

• Full Australian working rights.
• Valid Victorian Security License with Control Room endorsement.
• Certificate II in Security Operations (or higher).
• Full Driver's License.
• First Aid/CPR certification.
• Strong communication skills.
• Proven experience in a supervisory role within the security industry.
• Strong computer proficiency and accessibility.
