STH and World Rugby recently signed an exclusive agreement to redefine the premium fan experience for the next three men’s and women’s Rugby World Cups. As part of this agreement, STH Group has opened a brand-new office in Sydney to provide hospitality and premium fan experiences for Rugby World Cup 2027 in Australia.
ROLE SUMMARY:
With just over two years until the start of Rugby World Cup 2027, we are looking for an experienced Ticketing Manager to join The STH Event Delivery team and play a key role in delivering outstanding ticketing services for the event.
In this role, you will oversee daily ticketing operations, develop and execute ticketing strategies, and uphold exceptional standards in customer service and operational efficiency to elevate the fan experience.
You will coordinate with the Group Head of Ticketing and STH Australia Ticketing team to ensure that ticket allocations by event, venue, package, and category are efficiently managed and meet all relevant requirements.
ABOUT YOU:
• Ticketing Systems Expertise: At least 5 years of experience working with ticketing systems and processes for large-scale sporting events.
• Leadership and Strategic Planning: Ability to plan the necessary requirements, processes, and resources to lead cross-functional teams in successful project delivery, in alignment with wider group priorities and frameworks.
• Stakeholder Management: Proven ability to manage relationships with both internal and external stakeholders, supporting strategic and operational objectives.
• Operational Analysis and Execution: Strong analytical abilities to translate data insights into improved ticketing processes and elevated customer satisfaction.
• Communication and Collaboration: Effective communicator with the ability to foster teamwork across departments, ensuring seamless execution of ticketing strategies.
• Sports and Events: A passion for sport, rugby, travel and events would be beneficial but is not essential.
This is a fantastic opportunity to play a key role in delivering outstanding ticketing services whilst working on a major global sporting event in Australia.
