What you’ll be doing

Safely transporting low to medium acuity patients in line with NSW Health PTS guidelines

Providing basic clinical monitoring (e.g. pulse, BP), supporting patient comfort, and responding appropriately to any concerns during transport

Using manual handling best practices for safe stretcher and chair transfers

Communicating clearly with patients, carers, and hospital staff to ensure safe handover

Accurately completing clinical and operational documentation

Performing vehicle and equipment checks to maintain operational readiness

Escalating clinical concerns and maintaining safety and infection control standards

What you’ll need

Unrestricted NSW driver licence and safe driving record

Registered Nurse or Paramedic (AHPRA registered)

Working with Children Check and National Police Check (or willingness to obtain)

Up-to-date immunisation record in line with NSW Health policy

Strong communication and interpersonal skills – you bring calm to every situation
