Twilight Aged Care is a stand-alone not-for-profit service with a rich history spanning over 100 years.

Employing over 300 dedicated staff, they provide high quality residential aged care for more than 200 men and women in 5 homes across Northern Sydney – Dural, Gordon, Mosman, Hunters Hill and Gladesville.

The Role

Promoting and maintaining optimum levels of resident health and well-being through the provision of exceptional laundry services. Your duties include but are not limited to:

Ability to perform safe use of laundry product and equipment’s

Knowledge of safe use of Chemicals

Knowledge of infection control

Good oral communication skills

Ability to work without supervision

Work well as part of a team

Ability to prioritise work load

Maintain the laundry record

To perform duties according to work schedule

Comply with Twilight Aged Care policies and procedures

Promote and maintain safe workplace and work towards eliminating hazards and risks

Encourage the minimisation of waste

Details

Opportunity for full time work

Days include: Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday and Saturday

Working hours: 10am - 6pm

About you

Demonstrating experience in a similar role, you will have:

An up-to-date Police Check

Australian Driving License

Has received COVID-19 Booster Vaccination (required)

Previous laundry experience (highly preferred)

Previous experience working in community or aged care would be highly regarded

Well-developed written and verbal communication skills, and interpersonal skills

First aid / CPR certificates (optional)
