About the Role:

To support our exciting growth phase, we are seeking an experienced Purchasing Officer to plan and procure a diverse range of finished goods from our extensive supply base. This contract role reports to our Head of Supply and is integral to our Supply team meeting business inventory requirements, onboarding and managing a diverse and growing group of suppliers, and optimizing inventory management outcomes. This role is initially a 6-month contract with the potential to extend or convert to a permanent arrangement.

Tasks and Responsibilities:

Order Management:

Accurately enter and process customer orders each day

Monitor order statuses and ensure timely fulfillment

Delivery & Roll-Out Tracking:

Track outbound shipments through carrier systems

Proactively follow up on any delays or exceptions to ensure orders arrive on time and in full

Enter, monitor and report on product roll-out schedules and milestones

Customer Support:

Respond to customer calls and portal inquiries

Resolve complaints and escalations promptly and professionally

Collaboration & Reporting:

Work closely with the Head of Customer and Sales Team

Provide feedback on customer trends and service levels

Liaise with other departments to streamline processes

Portal Administration:

Manage and maintain the online ordering portal

Implement updates and troubleshoot user issues

About You:

Proven track record in a fast-paced customer service role (senior level preferred)

Exceptional attention to detail and strong problem-solving skills

Highly organized, proactive, and able to manage multiple priorities

Energetic self-starter with a positive, can-do attitude

Curious and eager to learn new systems and processes
