About the role

Join the talented team at Bananacoast Hot Bake' as a Bakers Assistant working full-time in our Coffs Harbour bakery. In this role, you will assist our skilled bakers in the production of a wide range of fresh breads, pastries and other baked goods to delight our customers.

What you'll be doing

Assist bakers with mixing, preparing and shaping dough and batters

Operate and maintain baking equipment such as ovens and mixing machines.

Ensure work areas are clean, sanitised and comply with food safety standards

Support the bakery team with other tasks as required

What we're looking for

Previous experience as a baker's assistant or in a similar food production role

Knowledge of baking techniques and food safety regulations

Excellent attention to detail and ability to follow recipes and procedures

Physically fit and able to stand for long periods and lift heavy items

Excellent teamwork and communication skills
