We are looking for a passionate cook/Kitchen Manager to be strong driver of our purpose-built burger & beer restaurant. We are a vibrant and unique brand that is very different to the generic brands and have a strong focus on quality, handmade food, sourced from local suppliers prepared fresh instore daily.

asks & responsibilities
· Instore training of kitchen staff to adapt kitchen standards and procedures
· Strong and professional communication and leadership skills on all levels
· Ability to work well under pressure and keep calm and calculated during peak service periods
· Overseeing stock levels, daily ordering schedule, stock rotation and weekly stocktaking
· Ensuring compliance with food handling, hygiene and health and safety legislation/guidelines
· Follow recommended guidelines to ensure recipes are being followed
· Understand and adapt ordering to maintain sustainable food expenses
· Have a well-presented kitchen brigade in an open and vibrant kitchen
· Be a hands-on cook that is willing to lead by example
· Embrace monthly specials, give input, and submit ideas where relevant to head office
· Build strong relationships with local foodservice and supply partners
· Work with state-of-the-art docket systems and order processes (Bumpit and Lightspeed)
· Most of all be an engaged leader with a positive attitude and the ability to use constructive feedback in order to run a tight ship
