Are you a seasoned hospitality professional ready to lead in the Perth Hills' picturesque venue? Masonmill is on situated on 10 acres of landscaped gardens offering casual dining in our restaurant, beer garden, and function spaces as well as 18-hole mini golf and a very full wedding season calendar. We're seeking a Venue Manager (FOH) to oversee daily front-of-house operations, craft memorable guest experiences, and lead our service team across all aspect of the customer food and beverage experience.
Responsibilities:
Guest Delight: Create outstanding dining experiences for our guests within the restaurant.
Wedding and Function food and beverage management: Working with our Wedding team we require all aspects of food and beverage oversight, including but not limited to; menu and beverage tastings, on the day management of the service team, problem solving to ensure outstanding customer service and everything in between.
Team Leadership: Lead, inspire, and mentor our front-of-house staff.
Operational Excellence: Ensure smooth daily venue front-of-house operations across multiple areas/function spaces.
Customer Engagement: Build strong guest relationships and loyalty.
Marketing Collaboration: Work with marketing teams to promote and attract guests.
Inventory Control: Monitor inventory, minimizing waste and ensuring variety.
Compliance: Ensure health, safety, and regulatory standards are met.
Problem-Solving: Address challenges promptly, finding effective solutions.
Continuous Improvement: Drive excellence in service through enhancements.
Reporting: Provide regular updates and reports to senior management.
Rostering: Manage Front of house and wedding staff rostering in line with operational needs
Requirements:
Hospitality Expertise: Extensive experience in front-of-house and hospitality management.
Leadership Excellence: Proven leadership, team-building, and staff management.
Guest-Centric: A passion for exceptional customer service and guest satisfaction.
Financial Acumen: Strong financial management and budgeting skills.
Marketing Insight: Understanding of marketing and promotional strategies.
Inventory Expertise: Skill in inventory management and control.
Regulatory Compliance: Familiarity with health, safety, and regulatory standards, Food safety supervision, first aid, RSA and Approved Managers certificates preferred.
Problem-Solving: Ability to tackle challenges with effective solutions.
Continuous Improvement: Commitment to enhancing front-of-house processes.
Communication Skills: Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
Availability: Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
