Aboriginal Disability Liaison Officer (Full-Time)

Moorditj Koort Aboriginal Corporation is calling for a dedicated and community-driven Aboriginal Disability Liaison Officer (ADLO) to walk alongside our people as they navigate the NDIS and achieve their full potential.

The Role
As our new ADLO, you’ll become a key connector between community and service providers. You will:
Educate and support individuals and families to understand and access the NDIS
Help community members complete access forms and attend appointments
Build strong relationships with participants, carers, families, and stakeholders
Coordinate workshops and forums to build awareness of NDIS benefits
Support development of personalised NDIS care plans
Foster respectful partnerships with existing NDIS providers
Maintain accurate and confidential client records

Who We’re Looking For
Someone with:
Strong cultural knowledge and connections to Aboriginal communities
A warm, respectful approach and genuine care for others
Solid communication and relationship-building skills
Confidence to work independently and in a team
Experience in community engagement and support roles
Competency with Microsoft Office and client management systems
Essential requirements:
WA Driver’s License
NDIS Worker Screening Check
National Police Clearance (within 3 months)
Working with Children Check
COVID-19 Vaccination
Vulnerable Peoples Check
