Job Title: Mechanical Fitter

About the Role: We seek a skilled Workshop Mechanical Fitter to join our client's team. You will be based at our client's purpose-built facility in Malaga. As a Workshop Mechanic, your primary responsibilities will include mechanical repair, overhaul, and commissioning of all our client's mechanised equipment, ensuring compliance with Global TRS work instructions. Additionally, you’ll assist in load-out preparation, equipment inspection, cleaning, and refurbishment for future use. Safety and efficiency will be paramount in your daily tasks.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform mechanical repair, overhaul, and commissioning of mechanised equipment.
• Prepare equipment for load-out, inspect, clean, and refurbish for future use.
• Maintain a safe and efficient workshop environment.
• Schedule workshop activities to maximise efficiency.
• Prioritise and schedule repairs and maintenance of specialised equipment.
• Implement specialised equipment spare part inventory management.
• Uphold high standards of housekeeping practices in the workshop and yard.
• Develop and maintain specialised equipment servicing procedures.

Job Requirements:

• Trade qualified (Mechanical or Electronic).
• Strong hydraulic and electronic fault-finding abilities.
• Theoretical and practical knowledge of Quality, Safety, Security, and Environment (QHSSE).
• Demonstrated procedural knowledge and operational competency.

Working hours

Monday to Friday
8 am to 4:30 pm. Overtime is available.
