Mechanical Fitter - Machine Maintenance

Location: Bayswater, WA
Rate: $50.90 - $53.40 p/hr + super + penalties
Hours: Flexible on start and finish times to suit you

About the Role:

We are currently seeking a trade qualified Mechanical Fitter to join our team. This hands on role is primarily focused on the maintenance, servicing and repair of workshop machines along with general mechanical fitting and machining duties as required.

If you’re an experienced fitter with strong troubleshooting skills and a solid understanding of machines feel free to apply.

Key Responsibilities:

Carry out maintenance, breakdown repairs, and servicing of workshop machines

Diagnose mechanical faults and implement effective solutions

Interpret technical drawings, manuals and service documentation

Support general workshop and equipment maintenance as needed

About You:

Trade Qualified

Proven experience in mechanical fitting, maintenance and machining

Prior experience working with CNC machinery is highly regarded

Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and technical manuals

Excellent problem solving skills and mechanical aptitude

Strong commitment to safe work practices

Pay Rates / Shifts / Hours

Rate - $50.90 - $53.40 /hr + super + penalties

OT 1 - 1.5x rate

OT 2 - 2x rate

Ongoing work with the opportunity for permanent employment

Squeaky clean and very safe work environment
