About the role

ORH Truck Solutions Pty Ltd is seeking skilled Mechanical Fitters and Trade Assistants to join our team in Hazelmere. Are you a skilled Mechanical Fitter or a Trade Assistant looking for a change from the daily grind of dirty mechanical workshops. These full-time positions are both challenging, varied and rewarding.

At ORH we are looking for motivated candidates, preferably with truck experience but not essential, to top up our staff levels for our expanding business. To be part of our team assembling and fitting out a wide range of truck components from service trailers thru to water carts and service trucks - every workday is different.

The positions of Mechanical Fitters will entail you taking a leading role while working on the floor to ensure jobs are completed on time with accuracy and to assist with training of others.

What we are looking for

Confident assembly skills

Ensure timely production and quality control to meet specifications

Be able to read and interpret job drawings and build lists

Ensure accurate time keeping on each job

Keeping a tidy and organised workspace for safety and efficiency

Must have own tools

Current driver’s licence (HR and Forklift Ticket preferred)

Hydraulic and air brake knowledge desired

Working at heights (preferred but not essential)

Confined space training (preferred but not essential)

Current First Aid Certificate (preferred but not essential)
