About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced ICT Project Manager with specialised expertise in Cybersecurity, SAP, and Artificial Intelligence (AI) to lead and manage complex, quality-accredited ICT initiatives. This role is critical in ensuring the successful planning, delivery, and governance of technology-driven projects that align with our organisational objectives.

As the ICT Project Manager, you will be responsible for the end-to-end coordination of technical resources, project scheduling, risk and budget management, and stakeholder engagement. You will drive innovation, support digital transformation goals, and ensure that all project milestones and deliverables are achieved within the agreed scope, timeframes, and budgets.

Key Responsibilities

Plan, initiate, and lead end-to-end delivery of multiple ICT projects with a focus on Cybersecurity uplift, SAP implementation and optimisation, and AI-enabled digital services.

Coordinate and manage project scope, resources, deliverables, budgets, risks, and schedules to ensure alignment with strategic objectives and compliance with quality standards.

Develop detailed project plans including work breakdown structures (WBS), milestone tracking, and resource allocation using tools such as MS Project, JIRA, and Azure DevOps.

Lead cross-functional teams, including security analysts, SAP consultants, data scientists, solution architects, and third-party vendors, fostering collaboration and accountability.

Ensure integration and alignment of SAP solutions (S/4HANA, SuccessFactors, FICO, etc.) with cybersecurity frameworks and AI tools to enhance operational resilience and decision-making.

Manage cyber risk assessments, Essential Eight alignment, incident response planning, and security control implementation across technology platforms.

Drive AI project streams, including proof-of-concepts, machine learning integrations, and data governance frameworks.

Engage and communicate with stakeholders at all levels, including executive leadership, business units, ICT governance bodies, and vendors to provide updates, resolve issues, and ensure buy-in.

Monitor and report project performance, providing regular status reports, dashboards, and project documentation for internal and external audit compliance.

Manage project change control, procurement processes, and vendor performance in accordance with internal policies and external regulations.

Facilitate Agile and/or PRINCE2 project management ceremonies including sprint planning, retrospectives, steering committee briefings, and change boards.

Key Requirements

Minimum 5 years’ experience in ICT Project Management with a focus on Cybersecurity, SAP, and/or AI projects within Retail Banking, BFSI, Insurance, and Healthcare domains.

Global experience working with top consulting companies with skilled in IT project lifecycle management, Agile and Scrum frameworks, and creating Business Requirement Documents (BRD). Proficient in tools such as JIRA, SharePoint, Microsoft 365

Previous experience as Business Analyst and team leading mandatory with experience in Modelling and Design Tools: UML, Data Modelling, Axure, Operating Systems: UNIX, Windows, Data Analysis and Visualization: Tableau, Applications and Platforms: SAAS Application, CRM and Testing: HP ALM, TestRail, Postman, Confluence

Bachelor and Masters degree in computing with skills assessment from Australian relevant body.

Proven ability to deliver enterprise-grade ICT programs on time and within budget.

Strong knowledge of cybersecurity frameworks (e.g., ISO 27001, Essential Eight, NIST), incident management, and risk mitigation.

Experience managing SAP ERP/S/4HANA projects, including integration, migration, and cloud transformation.

Familiarity with AI/ML platforms, data pipelines, and ethical AI governance.

Excellent stakeholder engagement, leadership, and communication skills.

Demonstrated experience in using project management tools such as MS Project, JIRA, Confluence, Power BI, Azure DevOps, or equivalents.

Strong understanding of project delivery frameworks including PMBOK, PRINCE2, Agile/Scrum, and MSP.

Relevant tertiary qualifications in IT, Engineering, or Business.

PMP, PRINCE2, or Agile certification highly regarded.

Desirable

Experience working in government or highly regulated environments or through top consulting company.

Familiarity with SAP security controls, Identity & Access Management, and integration with cybersecurity tools.

Previous experience leading AI automation or data science projects from concept to deployment.

Exposure to cloud platforms (e.g., Azure, AWS, SAP Cloud) and enterprise architecture frameworks.
