We are looking for a highly organised and proactive HR & Rostering Officer to join our growing team in Adelaide. This is a dynamic dual-role position that sits at the heart of our workforce operations—ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, is passionate about people, and is committed to delivering high-quality support to both staff and NDIS participants.
You will be responsible for coordinating recruitment, compliance, training, and payroll support while also managing staff rosters to ensure participant needs are met with the right support, at the right time.

· Maintain staff compliance in line with NDIS Quality and Safeguarding Framework and Fair Work obligations.
· Facilitate staff inductions, ongoing training, and professional development tracking.
· Oversee HR administration, including contracts, leave, performance reviews, and policy updates.
· Conduct monthly staff check-ins to support engagement, wellbeing, and retention.
· Foster a positive, inclusive, and compliant workplace culture across the organisation.
📅 Rostering & Scheduling
· Develop and maintain rosters aligned with participant care plans, funding, and support needs.
· Ensure rosters are completed at least two fortnights in advance and promptly updated for changes.
· Monitor staff availability, manage fatigue risks, and coordinate leave to ensure continuity of care.
· Work closely with participants, support coordinators, and team leaders to match staff appropriately.
· Provide after-hours on-call support for urgent roster or HR-related issues (as required).
💸 Payroll & Staff Support
· Collaborate with the finance team to ensure accurate and timely payroll processing.
· Respond to staff queries regarding pay, timesheets, and entitlements in a timely manner.
· Maintain accurate records of worked hours, leave balances, and employee entitlements.
· Provide frontline HR support and act as a trusted point of contact for staff.
Key Selection Criteria
· Demonstrated experience in HR, rostering, or workforce coordination—preferably in NDIS, healthcare, or community services.
· Strong working knowledge of the NDIS Practice Standards, SCHADS Award, and Fair Work legislation.
· High-level proficiency with workforce systems such as ShiftCare, CareMaster, Xero, or similar.
· Exceptional organisational, communication, and time-management skills.
· A proactive, solution-focused mindset with strong attention to detail.
· Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-moving environment.
· Passion for staff wellbeing and high-quality participant care.
