About the Role
We’re looking for a detail-oriented and dependable Bookkeeper / Accountant to manage the day-to-day financial operations across our group of entities. These businesses operate in the property investment and financial services sector, with a strong focus on residential transactions and fund-based investments. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial setting and enjoys working across multiple entities and complex structures.

You’ll be responsible for keeping our books clean, reconciled, and ready for review—supporting both internal management and external advisors. If you enjoy structure, value accuracy, and take ownership of financial processes, you’ll fit right in.

Key Responsibilities

Manage day-to-day bookkeeping across multiple businesses using Xero

Reconcile bank transactions, maintain general ledger, and ensure accurate reconciliation

Liaise with our external accountants and tax agent to keep accounts up-to-date and compliant

Assist in preparing BAS, monthly/quarterly financials, and internal reports

Track intercompany transactions and ensure consistency across group entities

Maintain proper documentation and record-keeping for audit readiness

Support financial operations and reporting to management

What We’re Looking For

Minimum 2+ years experience in bookkeeping or accounting roles

Proficiency with Xero preferred; experience with other major accounting platforms also valued

Experience working across multiple entities or group structures is highly regarded

Solid understanding of reconciliation and Australian accounting practices

Strong attention to detail and self-driven to sought after information for reconciliation

Excellent communication skills and a proactive attitude

Tertiary qualifications in accounting or bookkeeping preferred
