Union Beverages is a proudly independent Australian contract beverage manufacturer servicing a wide range of clients. From Wines, Spirits to RTDs, we manufacture and pack beverages that are enjoyed across the country. Our Dingley Village facility houses state-of-the-art production lines, and as we continue to grow, we’re looking for a talented finance professional to help support and streamline our day-to-day bookkeeping and accounting functions.

About the Role

We’re seeking an experienced Bookkeeper or Accountant who thrives in a fast-paced, manufacturing-oriented environment. Reporting to Director and working closely with our operations team, this role is responsible for managing daily financial transactions, overseeing accounts payable/receivable, supporting monthly reporting, and ensuring compliance with ATO and excise obligations.

Key Responsibilities

Full-function Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable

Bank and credit card reconciliations, daily transaction processing

Payroll processing and superannuation compliance (Xero)

Assist Company Accountant with Lodgements

Monthly management reporting support

Manage monthly budgets for all areas of the business

Maintain accounting records in Xero

General office and finance administration as required

What We’re Looking For

Proven experience in bookkeeping or accounting (ideally in a manufacturing or FMCG environment)

Strong Xero and Excel proficiency

Solid understanding of ATO compliance – BAS, payroll, super

Familiarity with excise or WET regimes (preferred but not essential – we’ll train the right person)

Excellent attention to detail and organisation

A solutions focused mindset and desire to be part of a close-knit team
