Bus Queesland Lockyer Valley (part of the Pulitano Group of Companies) is currently seeking an Operations Supervisor to join our Service Delivery team at our Laidley depot.

Our company specialises in providing School, and Urban, services in the South East Queensland, as well as Melbourne and Country Victoria.

About the role

To adhere to and manage compliance with Work Health & Safety Policies and Safe Work Procedures (JSAs) at all times. Identify potential safety hazards and takes appropriate action to ensure personnel safety

Liaise with the Central Control Room to resolve operational issues

Inspect defects reported by drivers

Make bookings for buses to be serviced and repaired by the appropriate supplier

Deliver buses to suppliers for repairs

Deliver buses to the Department of Transport for inspection

Maintain maintenance records for vehicles in accordance with company policy and procedures

Undertake administrative activities such as scanning and emailing forms

Undertake minor maintenance activities for the depot including mowing and cleaning

Safety Committee Member

Ensure buses required for maintenance are removed from services

Manage parking of buses to minimise damage and ensure safety of staff

Assist drivers and Network Controllers during dispatch.

Record all defects identified during pre-start checks.

Assist with bus cleaning activities

Driving and supervising duties as required

About you

Trade Certificate as a Diesel Mechanic or similar

Demonstrated application of health and safety regulations

Basic computer literacy

Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) experience

MR driver license

Driver’s Authorisation
