Operations Supervisor (General Freight)

About the role:

General warehouse & yard duties

50 hours per week - Weekends off

8am-6pm shift times

Use forklift to load & unload trucks

Use of scanners to scan freight barcodes

Tying down loads with load restraint equipment

Picking up and delivering freight

Supervising activities of PUD drivers and warehouse team members

Working in a team environment with 4-5 other people in warehouse

Skills & Experience Required:

Forklift license and experience essential

Experience within the transport industry is preferred

Ability to work in a fast pace environment

Ability to connect and work within a team

Excellent communication and customer service skills

This position requires physical duties therefore you must be physically fit
