About the Role
We are seeking an experienced and proactive Powdercoating Supervisor to take charge of daily operations within the powdercoating division. This hands-on role will lead a small team and oversee all aspects of the coating process - from preparation and sandblasting to application, curing, and packaging - ensuring excellence in finish, compliance, and safety.

Key Responsibilities

Manage the full powdercoating process including product preparation, application, curing, and packaging.

Supervise a team of operators, assign tasks, and monitor productivity.

Conduct regular quality control checks including micron testing and finish inspections.

Maintain powdercoating and blasting equipment to ensure consistent production.

Ensure adherence to WHS protocols, including chemical handling and PPE use.

Maintain production logs, test results, and maintenance records.

Drive team performance and ensure production targets and quality benchmarks are met.

What You'll Bring

Proven experience in powdercoating operations including pre-treatment, curing, and finishing.

Strong knowledge of micron standards and quality control requirements.

Mechanical aptitude and experience with powdercoating equipment maintenance.

Leadership experience within a production or finishing environment.

Current Forklift Licence (LF) - required.

High attention to detail and commitment to producing professional-grade finishes.

Solid understanding of WHS practices and chemical safety standards.
