Our client located in Berrinba area are looking for a Senior Project Officer for their team.

Working within the National Fire Ant Eradication Program (NFAEP), the successful candidate will oversee the fire ant responsive treatment, strengthen strategic partnerships with government stakeholders, play a key role in educating and mobilising schools' fire ant self-management and support FAST project evaluations and reporting

Duties:

- Oversee a responsive treatment program for the National Fire Ant Eradication Program (NFAEP) to ensure reports are handled appropriately and risk is minimised to the stakeholder

- Build thorough understanding and sound skills using existing systems and mapping tools to inform requests for system developments

- Use mapping tools to guide decision making, monitor change, and present/report accurate data for varied audiences and purposes

- Co-design and co-deliver presentations and workshops for stakeholders

- Assist in developing memorandums of understanding, collaborative agreements and associated documentation and communication

- Collaborate with a multi-disciplinary team including various functions of the program.

Requirements:

- Tertiary qualification in a relevant discipline and transferable experience would be desirable

- Proficiency in programs such as Excel and Power BI

- Familiarity with mapping tools such as ArcGIS is advantageous

- Available for weekend work (some required)

- A current driver's license

- Australian citizen or permanent resident
