Public Sector People are partnering with a High-profile State government Department to recruit an experienced AO6 Senior Project Officer for a temporary contract til 30 June 2026!

The purpose of the role will provide support a high-priority, cross-government initiative focused on responsive treatment, stakeholder engagement, and strategic reporting.

Responsibilities will include but not limited to:

• Oversee responsive treatment coordination and ensure timely referral and management of reported risks.
• Build strong relationships with government stakeholders, schools, and the broader community.
• Use and improve internal systems and mapping tools to support data accuracy, reporting, and decision-making.
• Design and deliver presentations, training, and workshops to help stakeholders understand and use systems and tools effectively.
• Support the development of collaborative agreements and supporting documentation.
• Coordinate training and technical support for schools in high-priority areas.
• Contribute to project evaluations, reporting, and continuous improvement initiatives.

About you:

• Strong stakeholder engagement and project coordination skills.
• Experience with mapping tools and data platforms (ArcGIS, Excel, Power BI desirable).
• Excellent communication and training delivery skills.
• Willingness to work flexibly, including occasional weekends.

Mandatory:

• Current C class driver’s licence.
• Must be an Australian citizen, permanent resident, or hold a valid visa with working rights.
