The Role
We are seeking a dependable and detail-focused bookkeeper to join our team in a full-time, in-office position. This role is ideal for someone with 1–2 years of Xero experience, looking for stability, structure, and long-term growth.

The focus will be on core bookkeeping tasks, with the opportunity to expand into payroll processing once you’ve demonstrated capability and consistency in the role.

This is not a remote or hybrid position — we operate from a central office and value a focused, low-distraction working environment.

Your Responsibilities (Initial Focus)

Bookkeeping for clients using Xero.

Bank and credit card reconciliations.

Accounts payable, invoice processing, and payment runs.

Invoice processing using Lightyear (training provided).

Supporting month-end financial preparation and reporting.

Liaising with clients and suppliers professionally as needed.

Opportunity for Growth
Once you’ve demonstrated confidence and reliability in your core bookkeeping responsibilities, you’ll have the opportunity to expand into payroll-related tasks, including:

Processing payrolls for our clients in the QSR industry.

Assisting clients with payroll tasks and providing general support.

Managing superannuation lodgements and payments.

Full training will be provided in our proprietary payroll software system, with mentoring from experienced team members. This progression pathway is ideal for someone looking to broaden their skill set and grow steadily within the business over time.

What You’ll Bring

1–2 years of experience working with Xero.

Solid understanding of bookkeeping principles and financial processes.

Familiarity with Excel and Microsoft Office.

Strong attention to detail and task ownership.

A calm, consistent, and focused work style.

Comfortable working independently in a quiet, professional environment.

Willingness to learn and follow structured processes.

Availability to work full-time in-office (no remote work).

Desirable (But Not Essential)

Experience with Lightyear, Syft, or payroll systems.

Cert IV in Bookkeeping or similar studies.

Background in small business or accounts environments.
