About the role

Holistic Care Nursing and Disability Services' is seeking experienced Disability Support Workers to join our growing team in the Sydney Metro area. In this contract role, you will provide high-quality care and support to individuals with a range of disabilities, enabling them to live independently and participate actively in their community. There are multiple openings for this role across Sydney Metro area (South Western Sydney, Western Suburbs and Northern Sydney suburbs)

What you'll be doing

Assisting clients with personal care tasks such as bathing, grooming, and dressing

Providing support with meal preparation, household chores, and daily living activities

Accompanying and supporting clients in community-based activities and outings

Implementing individualised support plans to help clients achieve their personal goals

Maintaining detailed client records and documentation

Adhering to all relevant policies, procedures, and legislative requirements

Promoting the rights, independence, and wellbeing of each client

What we're looking for

Minimum 6 months' experience in a similar disability support or aged care role

Certificate III in Individual Support or equivalent qualification

Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport with clients

Patience, empathy, and a genuine commitment to improving the lives of people with disabilities

Ability to work independently as well as part of a team

Excellent time management and organisational skills

Current First Aid certification and a valid driver's licence
