About the role

We have an exciting and rewarded support opportunity to share with you. Located in Batemans Bay, you will be part of a 24/7 care team to support a 70 year old male with an acquired brain injury. You will provide full assistance with all ADL's as well as clinical support . Due to the nature and complexity of the client's needs, you will need to have relevant disability experience. An extensive onboarding program will be provided with buddy shifts to help you with your transition.

Your key responsibilities

Our team is looking for a dedicated and passionate Disability Support Worker, who can undertake the following key responsibilities,

• Assistance with Daily Living
• Supervision during showers
• Domestic cleaning assistance

About you

To join the team, we are looking for the following skills and experience:

• Certificate III in Individual Support or above (relevant care certificates may also be considered)
• Manual handling certificate
• Current First aid and CPR
• Yellow Card/NDIS Worker's Screening Check
• NDIS Orientation Module
• English Fluency - verbal and written

We are also looking for someone with great communication skills, who works well in a team, has a caring and supportive nature, and is client-focused.
