Miss Moo Disability Support is currently experiencing growth and now on the lookout for motivated Support Workers to join the Moo Crew across various locations in Southeast Queensland:
Inner City (Bowen Hills, Woolloongabba)
Logan City (Park Ridge, Crestmead, Logan Reserve, Logan Village, Loganholme, Springwood, Waterford West, Daisy Hill, Jimboomba & Greenbank)
Ipswich (Redbank Plains, Thagoona & Springfield)
Gold Coast (Upper Gold Coast Areas, Pimpama)
The Opportunity
As a Support Worker at Miss Moo Disability Support you will play a vital role in providing essential care and assistance to individuals with disabilities, helping them live independently and participate actively in their community. This is a casual position, offering flexibility and the opportunity to make a meaningful difference in people's lives.
Male and Female Support Staff Required
Flexible Shifts across Monday - Sunday
Hours ranging from 2 to 8 hours per shift
IMMEDIATE Start for the right candidate
Key Responsibilities
Assisting Participants with daily living activities such as personal care, meal preparation, and household tasks within their own home and/or across our Supported Independent Living (SIL) Homes.
Accompanying and supporting Participants during social, recreational, and community-based activities
Advocating for Participants needs and ensuring their rights and preferences are respected
Documenting Participant progress and maintaining accurate records
Collaborating with the wider care team to develop and implement individualised support plans
Promoting Participant independence, choice, and self-determination
What we're Looking For
A genuine passion for supporting individuals with disabilities and a commitment to person-centred care
Relevant experience in the aged care, disability, or community services sectors
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build trusting relationships with Participants
A problem-solving mindset and the flexibility to adapt to the unique needs of each Participant
Completion of a Certificate III in Individual Support or equivalent qualification
A current First Aid/CPR Certificates
Valid Driver's License & Comprehensive Vehicle Insurance
MUST HAVE NDIS Compliance Documents: Blue & Yellow Cards
