ABOUT THE COMPANY.

My client is a family owned Civil Contractor that has delivered some of Sydney's most iconic council infrastructure upgrades. They specialise in retaining walls, pavements and stormwater projects valued up to $2m in value. After successfully securing multiple projects, they are now looking at growing their team by hiring an experienced Project Engineer to join them working on a challenging yet rewarding council projects.

ABOUT THE POSITION.

As a Project Engineer, you will be reporting to the Project Manager assisting in the delivery of the project working alongside Site Engineers and Supervisors.

DUTIES.

Your day to day responsibilities will include but not limited to the following:

• Quality assurance
• Cost control
• Subcontractor liaison
• Client liaison
• Contract variations

SKILLS & EXPERIENCE.

• A Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or Construction Management
• Experience working on streetscape/council projects is a must
• Outstanding communication skills both verbal and written
• Strong understanding of QA and costing
