Senior Project Engineer

100+ Unit Apartment Project

We’re working with a well-established builder that’s just picked up a 100+ apartment project and are looking to bring in a Senior Project Engineer to help get it off the ground.

You’ll be involved early, working closely with the Project Manager, Design and senior site staff to iron out construction methodology, sequencing before site works kick off.

Where You’ll Be Involved

Early-phase technical lead – Reviewing design, spotting buildability issues, and helping shape how the job will actually be delivered.

Strong communication required – Liaising with design consultants, PMs, site teams and subcontractors to make sure everyone’s aligned before work starts.

Coordination – Helping to resolve technical challenges early, trimming cost and time through value engineering where it makes sense.

Construction methodology – Thinking ahead on crane placement, access, staging, temporary works and services to streamline the job.

Reporting – Keeping things tight and clear when it comes to documentation, especially for senior management and stakeholders.

What You’ll Bring

3+ years as a PE/SPE, ideally with a mix of high-rise residential and mixed-use projects under your belt.

Background with established Sydney builders – someone who understands local expectations and standards.

Overall experience including - structure, finishes, and services coordination.

Team-first mindset – you’re proactive, solutions-driven, and easy to work with.
