Job Description:

• Assist in the design and planning of civil engineering projects, including stormwater drainage, flood management, and urban infrastructure solutions.
• Support hydrological and hydraulic analysis using software such as DRAINS, MUSIC, or HEC-RAS, under the guidance of senior engineers.
• Prepare and update CAD drawings, engineering plans, and technical reports as part of project documentation.
• Conduct site visits and assist in inspections to ensure compliance with engineering designs and safety requirements.
• Assist in data collection, analysis, and reporting for feasibility studies and project assessments.
• Work closely with the engineering team to support project execution, documentation, and quality assurance.
• Perform quantity take-offs and cost estimations to assist in project budgeting and material selection.
• Ensure compliance with relevant Australian engineering standards and workplace safety guidelines.
• Participate in training and mentorship programs to develop technical skills and gain industry experience.

Qualifications & Experience Required

• Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering
• 0-2 years of experience in civil engineering, stormwater management, or infrastructure projects (graduates welcome to apply).
• Basic proficiency in AutoCAD, DRAINS, MUSIC, HEC-RAS, or similar engineering software.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail in engineering design and calculations.
• Ability to conduct site inspections and assist in project documentation and reporting.
• Good communication and teamwork skills, with a willingness to learn and collaborate with senior engineers.
