Hawkins Group are seeking an experienced Estimating Manager / Senior Estimator to join our growing team in our Mackay or Brisbane Office.

About the Role

We're seeking:

A highly motivated and experienced / Senior Estimator to prepare detailed cost plans, tenders, and budgets for a variety of Mining & Defence Construction Projects as well as supporting existing clients with future cost plans / ECI Phases.

In this role you will work closely with Project Managers, Project Engineers and the General Manager.

Key Responsibilities

Review drawings, specifications, and scopes to prepare accurate estimates and tender documents.

Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure high-quality submissions.

Assist with planning and scheduling of labour (in-house trades), materials, and plant/equipment.

Support Project Managers with clear cost documentation and conversion from tender to delivery phase.

Work from our Mackay or Brisbane based offices with occasional site travel as required.

Knowledge/exposure to local subcontractors and suppliers would be advantageous.
