Trainee Estimator position - seeking an ex Carpenter or ex Builder looking to move from the tools

Southside Brisbane office with parking

Long standing reputable volume home builder in business over 30 years - low staff turnover

About the Company

Our client is a reputable volume home builder that has been established over 30 years predominantly working in the investor space. They are a very secure business with a lot of long standing staff members and a great company culture.

About the Position

An opportunity currently presents for an an Estimator to join the team and learn the full function residential estimating role from the Senior Estimator. Responsibilities will include:

Managing price files

BOQs and take offs

Sales estimating and site costs

Management of steel frames manufacturing

Skills and Experience

The successful candidate will demonstrate the following:

Carpentry Trade qualified or a qualified Builder

Strong residential building background

Ability to read plans and problem solve

Good attention to detail

Eager to learn and progress into estimating
