Lumia Care is seeking experienced Support Workers to join our team and deliver high-quality, individualised care to clients in the Campbelltown area.

About the Role: You will be matched with clients based on your qualifications, experience, and care compatibility. Services are provided across SIL houses, Day Program and Community setting.

Our clients present with a range of physical, intellectual, and psychosocial support needs including:

• Intellectual Disability
• CPTSD, Borderline Personality Disorder, Functional Neurological Disorder (FND)
• Anxiety, Depression, Suicidal Ideation
• Asthma and other physical health complexities

Support Services May Include:

• High personal care and hygiene support
• High manual handling tasks (transfers, mobility assistance)
• Community access: social activities, appointments, shopping, groceries
• Social and emotional support
• Domestic assistance (cleaning, meal prep, etc.)

What We’re Looking For:

• Experience supporting clients with complex psychosocial and physical needs
• Certificate III or IV in Disability, Individual Support, Mental Health, or equivalent is a must
• Strong communication and behaviour support skills
• Empathetic, reliable, and calm under pressure
• Manual handling training and personal care experience (essential)
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team
• Flexibility to work varied shifts, including weekends, overnights, and public holidays

Mandatory Requirements:

• Current First Aid Certificate
• Valid Police Check
• NDIS Worker Screening Check
• Working with Children Check
• Full Australian Work Rights
• Valid driver’s licence and reliable vehicle
