Junior Test Analysts

Green Light is a growing consulting organisation known for its work in Telecommunications and System Integration Services organisations. We have a requirement with our client partner for Junior level Test analysts to join their team on a 6-month contract (with Potential to extend)

Responsibilities:

• Developing detailed test plans and test cases based on business requirements, functional and detailed design documents.
• Executing tests to validate functionality, including regression testing to ensure new changes or enhancements do not negatively impact existing functionality.
• Creating and maintaining comprehensive test documentation, including test plans, test cases and test results.
• Identifying, documenting and reporting defects found during testing.
• Managing defects through Test Management Tool (Azure DevOps), and proactively drive defects and blockers to resolution.
• Conducting tool analysis, making recommendations and selections.
• Utilising efficient and effective processes and standards to continuously improve quality.
• Participating in Code Reviews and Quality Gate definitions
• Coordinating and collaborating with client teams for completion of integration and user acceptance testing.
• Identify and analyze suitable opportunities for test automation
• Design and implement automation frameworks and approaches

Requirements:

• 1–2 years of experience in software testing or a related role.
• Basic understanding of the software development lifecycle (SDLC) and testing methodologies.
• Familiarity with test case design, execution, and defect reporting.
• Exposure to manual testing and an interest in learning automation tools.
• Experience working with tools such as JIRA, TestRail, or similar.
• Strong attention to detail and a methodical approach to problem-solving.
• Due to the nature of government work, applicants must be Australian citizens. An existing AGSVA security clearance is highly beneficial.
