About

This is an opportunity to be part of a long-established, purpose-driven organisation that is embarking on a significant digital transformation. With a legacy of supporting communities across Victoria, the organisation is now implementing a foundational technology program that will enable secure, consistent access to digital systems and drive long-term change across a wide network.

This transformation supports a broader digital initiative, a strategic uplift in the way digital tools are used across the community. At the centre of this is the need to effectively engage multiple entities, ensuring they feel supported, informed, and equipped to embrace new ways of working.

The Opportunity

We’re looking for a Change Analyst to play a key role in the communications and readiness throughout this technology rollout. This person will be the first point of contact for entities guiding them through key milestones, preparing them for change, and ensuring their feedback and concerns are captured and addressed.

You’ll work closely with internal teams and external vendors to make sure each entity understands what’s happening, when, and how they fit into the process. You’ll be responsible for coordinating engagement activities, supporting champions within entities, and tracking progress across multiple migration waves.

This is a Melbourne-based contract role with a supportive delivery team. It's a great opportunity for someone who thrives on people's engagement and wants to work on a meaningful program with real impact.

What You'll Do

This is a people-focused role at the heart of a large-scale transformation. You’ll be the go-to person for entities as they prepare for upcoming changes, providing clarity, consistency, and support throughout each stage of the rollout. You’ll coordinate engagement, manage communications, and help ensure each entity is set up for success.

Your day-to-day will involve:

Acting as the primary point of contact between the project team, vendors, and stakeholders

Coordinating and delivering engagement activities including briefings, Q&A sessions, and feedback workshops

Guiding up to four entities per week through their onboarding and readiness journey

Ensuring entities clearly understand their responsibilities, timelines, and support structures

Helping entities nominate local champions to support engagement and testing

Keeping a clear record of readiness, open questions, and issues needing escalation

Tailoring communications such as timelines, FAQs, and readiness packs for different cohorts

Supporting the team in running user acceptance and pre-verification testing phases

What You'll Bring

You’re a natural communicator and organiser who enjoys helping others through change. You know how to make people feel supported, informed, and confident, even when the subject matter is technical or unfamiliar.

Your skillset includes:

Strong stakeholder engagement and interpersonal skills and experience in community, education or public sector settings

Confidence delivering clear, concise messages to a wide audience, both in person and in writing

A proactive, people-first mindset with a focus on enabling smooth transitions during change

High attention to detail and strong organisation skills, able to manage multiple tasks and follow through

An understanding of technology transformation or digital rollouts, and the impact they have on end users

The ability to work collaboratively across teams and keep things moving in a fast-paced environment

Familiarity with Microsoft 365 (advantageous but not essential)

Why Join Us

This role puts you at the heart of a sector-wide transformation that will shape how the community uses digital tools well into the future. You’ll play a key role in building confidence and clarity across a large and diverse community of stakeholders. With a passionate internal team and strong program leadership in place, this is a fantastic opportunity to grow your change and communication skills in a high-impact environment.

Commitment to Diversity

We are committed to creating an inclusive workplace that welcomes and values people of all backgrounds. If you’re interested in this role but aren’t sure if you meet every requirement, we encourage you to apply, we’d love to hear from you.

Not sure if you meet these requirements? Please apply — we are happy to discuss your individual circumstances.
