Are you an experienced Civil or Mechanical Engineer with 5+ years of expertise in either Mining, Industrial Processing Facilities or Municipal Water Treatment Plants.

We are HDE Engineers, a trusted provider of engineering solutions and project management for the Mining, Power, Water Treatment and Heavy Industries. We’re seeking an experienced Civil or Mechanical Engineer to join our team - someone who can deliver high-quality engineering solutions, navigate technical problems, and provide technical guidance in a professional environment.

Location

This position will be located at HDE’s Rockhampton Office, 18 Albert Street, Rockhampton QLD 4700.

It is a requirement that the candidates live in the region or be willing to relocate for the position, to commute to work each day.

What You’ll Do:

· Conduct Structural Inspections.

· Support Design Development.

· Design Structural Remediation.

· Proactively Collaborate with Clients and Team

· Perform Advanced Structural Analysis

· Lead Project Execution

· Attend Site and Client Meetings

· Deliver Structural Design & Certification

What You Need:

· A Bachelor Degree (or higher) Structural, Mechanical or Civil Engineering.

· 5 + years of experience in engineering (civil / mechanical preferred) within mining, Industrial Processing Facilities or Municipal Water Treatment Plants.

· Proven experience in a similar role.

· Full-time work rights in Australia.

· Willingness to work at Rockhampton QLD.

Hours of Work:

· Monday – Thursday: 7:00 AM – 4:00 PM

· Friday: 7:00 AM – 1:00 PM (early finish!)

· Flexible work arrangements available upon discussion.
